It is the intention of the Cruising Committee to organise a club Rally in company on the Ionian Sea, Greece next June. We have been investigating charter companies and airlines to make this a successful and enjoyable club Rally for club members. This will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of chartering in a beautiful part of the world. From experience and recommendations, we have chosen the area south of Lefkas on the Ionian Sea. This is a beautiful area with fantastic anchorages by day and small villages with great marinas/pontoons and restaurants by night. For Novembers Skippers club on the 05th at 19:30 we will have Richard Cooper visit our club to give a talk on the proposed cruising area and what we can expect from the Rally. Richard has vast experience of the area and would be well qualified to answer any questions you may have. After this presentation we will outline the plan, and the expected costs involved. This opportunity is open to all club members. I would hope that this information given on the night may help you decide if you would like to join the Royal Cork Yacht Club Greek Rally 2025. If you have any questions in the meantime or cannot make it on the night please feel free to contact me, Patrick D’Arcy on 086 2583278. See you there.
