With events happening all over the globe, the RS Feva community is growing fast, and you can be part of it!
Designed for Fun: The RS Feva is built for two sailors, making it ideal for teenagers aged 11 to 15 (or even up to 18 in some events). It’s all about teamwork, skill development, and having a blast on the water. Plus, it’s super inclusive, welcoming sailors of all sizes and genders. Optimum combined crew weight of around 60-120kg.
Epic Features: This boat is a game-changer. Made from durable polyethene, the RS Feva is practically indestructible and requires minimal maintenance. The big cockpit and high boom make it super comfy, and the gennaker rigging adds an extra layer of excitement. It’s fast, stable, and perfect for tactical racing. And guess what? It’s unsinkable!
Join the Action: In Ireland, we host a bunch of awesome events every year, including Southerns, Easterns, Nationals, Inlands on a lake, and Northerns.
Weekly Fevas in RCYC: On Wednesday evenings, we race with other dinghies, launching at 17:30 for 2-3 races (weather permitting).
Sundays are all about coaching sessions, where you’ll learn to sail a three-sail dinghy like a pro. Our coaches are there to help you every step of the way, making sure you have a blast while improving your skills. Rigged and ready for 13:30, returning to the slipway 16:30. Payments made through the club’s Smart Cloud System.
Try Before You Buy: Not sure if the RS Feva is for you? No worries! The club has three Fevas available for hire during coaching sessions and races. It’s the perfect way to experience the thrill before committing to your own boat. And if you decide to take the plunge, the Feva can be used in some of the sailing courses held at RCYC every year.
