The second race of the Housework’s White Sail Friday night league
was held in light NW conditions last Friday.
Following a good start by Felix (Michael Wallace),
the fleet headed across the harbour to Cork Beg and up to No 12.
The wind lightened considerably for the long run out the harbour to
No 3 into a strong flood tide. With the last boat on the water rounding
No 3, thoughts turned to the time limit of 9pm.

Thankfully, wind picked up slightly for the beat back in the harbour
and all boats received a finishing time.
On handicap, Golden Odyssey (R Jeffrey’s) took first place
with Felix (M Wallace) 2nd and Indulgence (A Heffernan)
in 3rd.
