Last Sunday was week two of the Crosshaven Boat Yard March League, we had a 100% increase in competitors with four boats taking to the race course, big thanks to Jimmy Nyhan for doing OOD, it was a great day on the water with a 10-12 knots breeze from the south. The fleet had a grassy start line and headed out to No6 and back in to No7 with two laps, Derry Good on Exhale lead from start to finish, but it was always going to be about whether or not he could put the required distance on the fleet before the clock ran out, it was close, very close by the penultimate mark, but by the finish Exhale had done enough over the 90 minute race to give him first overall in both IRC all in and ECHO all in. In the white sail fleet there was only one boat on the water which gave Micheal Lynch on Lady T a very easy victory in both white sail IRC and ECHO. The weather is looking good for Sunday so please try and get out and support the league if you can.
