The following additional information has been gathered on visitor moorings along the South Cork coast :
Visitor moorings under the care of Cork County Council are due to be checked this month and necessary maintenance will be carried out quickly according to the County Engineer’s office in Schull.
The following is a list of the moorings. However, we have no knowledge of the reliability or security of these moorings and appropriate caution should be taken.

As previously advised only 2 of the 6 moorings in Glandore are reported to be in good condition.

Baltimore has no visitors’ moorings but Diarmuid Minihane organises mooring locally. Tel 087 2351485. For information on pontoon berthing call 028 22145.
Bantry has 8 visitors’ moorings in front of Bantry House. There have orange buoys with a yellow pick-up lead
