Very pleasant sailing conditions for the ever growing Royal Cork Topper fleet of sailors at the traveller event held in Lough Derg (Dromineer).The Cork contingent of eleven sailors did very well over the weekend which consisted a full day’s training on Saturday and a three race series on the Sunday.
Wind strength varied from light to medium as the weekend progressed and our sailors coped very well across all the conditions.Topper traveller events are demanding in that they do not permit a race discard which makes the margin for error very slim; Credit to a our sailors for showing consistency.
