Tiger receives Royal Cork Yacht Club Boat of the Year Award

The  Kenefick/Kenefick and O’Brien 1989 Quarter Tonner Tiger designed by Jacques Faroux,  last night received the accolade of Royal Cork Boat of the the year  for 2010  at the overall cruiser prize giving, including all the cruiser leagues and the prize giving for the Heineken Super League.

Tiger won Class 3 at the ICRA Nationals and won her class in Calves Week. She also won her class in Cork Week with eight first places and  also won the O’Flynn Exhams Autumn League IRC 3.

Anthony O’Leary’s Antix was winner of the Doyle Family Trophy for Best Overseas Performance for his achievements in the Scottish Series and the Rolex Commodores Cup.

The Martin McDonnell Memorial Trophy was presented to Peter Webster in recognition of his outstanding contribution to White Sail and for his promotion of the spirit of the class.
