Well the God’s smiled, the rain stopped, the sun came out and a nice south easterly breeze came in! Great evening for sailing, 4 boats managed to get out of the blocks.
Conditions were an ideal force 3 SE with blazing sunshine. OOD Keith McKeown got three great windward leeward’s in.
Race 1 Aquaholics sailed by Colin Chapman and crewed by Dom Long and Tommy Dwyer took line honours just beating Oystercatcher in a photo finish, with Clea taking third and Badger fourth.
Race 2 was again won by Aquaholics followed by Badger, Oystercatcher and Clea.
Race 3 saw Clea retire, Aquaholics again took the honours with Badger just pipping Oystercatcher.
All told a great night and thank you to our resident OD Keith and the rescue lads for their help. No racing this weekend due to the postponement of the Eastferry Cup. Wednesday as usual FG 18:25hrs SHARP!!
