Fireflies IS

Team Racing Clinic – July 22nd and 23rd

July’s Team Racing Clinic 1 will run on Thursday and Friday 22nd and 23rd of July in our brand new Fireflies.

Our principal coach Ben Fusco has been working away in the background and has pulled together what should be a good programme for the sailors.

The cost for the clinic is €60 (€30 per day) per sailor. This is to facilitate resource (coaches, boats, ribs, etc) allocation/management.

Sailors will be expected to arrive at 12 noon suitably attired to go afloat (wetsuit, cag, booties, buoyancy aid, etc). Sessions will finish at 5 pm.

Activities will be undertaken in ISA Fireflies.

Changing room facilities will not be available due to Covid restrictions.

Sailors should bring water and a snack with themselves.

To register and pay for your sailor you will need to do so on the RCYC SMART system. Please see this document to assist with booking and payment.

To access the SMART system your membership will need to be up to date. Should you have any queries on your membership or the SMART system please contact Miriam in the club office at Miriam@royalcork.com / 021-4831023.

As with all activities these days, this will be subject to Covid restrictions and guidelines at the time.

You will need to complete the Covid health declaration as part of your registration process. This is a once off exercise. The form can be found here ( https://www.royalcork.com/health-declaration-form/ ) and it takes less than a minute to populate.

Places are limited, so will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We hope to run a further session later in the summer/early autumn.
