            17.00 hrs          Rigging Fevas

 

Meet in Dinghy Park with all boats, covers off and ready to rig

No wet gear required but watch the weather!

Don’t be late..this is an valuable opportunity to have your rigging techniques and boat thoroughly checked by our National Coach

 

19.00hrs Quick Briefing for Saturday format and finish

 Saturday 6th October 

09.00 hrs Meet at Dinghy Centre and start rigging

 

            Bring full wet / dry / safety gear ready

 

10.00 hrs Launch

 

Gillian will take all participants through the tricks and techniques of sailing a Feva FAST, boat and sail trimming, getting the best from the asymmetrical kite, capsizing techniques ( hopefully not too many ), safety issues etc.

  

12.45 hrs  Lunch

 

            Bring a packed lunch with you!

 

13.30 hrs Coaches Coaching Coaches – with crews

 

All the coaches who have expressed an interest in becoming accredited RS Feva coaches to convene at Dinghy Centre. Feva helms / crews to standby as Coaches will now be sailing in the Fevas under the watchful eye of Gillian. Crews will be provided to the coaches but the coaches will be entirely responsible for their performance!! Boat & sail trimming, safety issues relating to the Feva, coaching techniques and common pitfalls will all be addressed during this session.

 

16.30 hrs Debriefing and packing up
