On Wednesday afternoon Admiral John Roche was delighted to welcome His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, President of the RNLI, Mr Robin Barnett, British Ambassador to Ireland, Mr Stuart Popham, Chairman of the RNLI Trustees and Mr David Delamere, Irish RNLI Council member to the Club.

HRH the Duke of Kent visited the Club while on a trip to Ireland to visit a number of RNLI lifeboat stations, after a trip around the harbour on the Ballycotton Lifeboat and a tour of Crosshaven RNLI lifeboat station the group had lunch in the Club. The Admiral and Club General Manger Gavin Deane presented a copy of our Clubs history book to His Royal Highness prior to his departure.
