Top Irish sailor James McCann (IRL 1502) from the Royal Cork Yacht Club racing in the eighth gold fleet race on the fourth day of the Optimist European Championships 2014 on Dublin Bay. Racing will continue until Saturday the 19th of July in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. A team of 14 Irish sailors will be among the 33 nations competing for the European titles but a total of 254 competitors will represent 44 countries in the Open Championships.
