Royal Cork yachts were to the fore after the finish of a wonderful sailing regatta in Kinsale when Eamon Rohan’s Blondie took the Sovereigns Cup while Anthony O’Leary in Antix Dubh, a former winner, had to be content with second place while Kieran Twomey’s Gloves Off took third.

In Class One IRC it was Robert O’Leary sailing the modified 1720 Antix Beag showed the true potential of this much talked about modification by winning the class.  Royal Cork Admiral Mike McCarthy took third place in this class.

In Class One Progressive Donal O’Leary’s D-Tox took second with Bill and Peter Crowley fourth in Hi-Time.

In Class Two IRC the McCarthy,McMullin,Clarke Harmony took first place.

In Whitesail One Eddie English sailing Holy Grounder took second place and in Whitesail Two Denis Murphy  finished second in Molia.
