The Royal Cork will play host to the annual UCC Alumni Regatta on Saturday 16th September coming. This event marks the start of the college sailing year for UCC and will be followed by a dinner in the club house on Saturday night.
With 10 teams entered for this 3v3 team racing event, you can be guaranteed to see some of the best team racers from over the years back out in force. The event will be competed in firefly dinghies.
These past and present UCC graduates and undergraduates will go through two round robins of racing, which will then lead into finals to see who will walk away with another years worth of bragging rights. Racing is scheduled to take place on the curlane bank and should make for great viewing for any members on the water.
