The laser Radial (ILCA6) Youth World Championships on Lake Garda finished Saturday following 6 days of racing.
In total there were 370 competitors between boys and girls. The fleets were divided following 3 days of qualification racing and results were as follows-
Jonathan O Shaughnessy 52nd over all and Michael Crosbie 67th overall Gold Fleet
Bronze fleet Harry Twomey,
Emerald Fleet Harry Pritchard
Silver Fleet Dorothy Mathews.
Howth Yacht Club’s Eve Mc Mahon (17) won the girls section in impressive fashion with a stunning performance which was very well deserved.
