Next weekend, the club will play host to the GP14 Autumn open & youths championship over two days where circa twenty plus GP14 dinghies are expected to arrive in the dinghy park.
It should make for an interesting event as the 2017 All Ireland senior helmsman championship will be sailed in GP14’s next month and we may find a number of individuals using the event to come to grips with the dinghy in advance. While GP14s are not currently sailed in the club , there will be an opportunity for any of our youth sailors who may wish to experience sailing this exciting two man Dinghy. We look forward to welcoming the class and experiencing some competitive racing over the Saturday and Sunday in the inner harbour.
