Revised Junior Sailing Courses 2020

We’re delighted to announce that Junior sailing courses will take place this Summer, commencing on July 20th 2020.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limited to the extent of courses which we can provide to members under the guidance from Irish Sailing as follows-

• Advanced Boat Handling and Improving Skills per the Irish Sailing certified syllabus will go ahead
• The Irish Sailing certified Basic Skills and Start Sailing courses will not go ahead unfortunately, however, we have created an alternate to these two courses in the form of half-day sessions for the same two week period 
• The Irish Sailing certified Taste of Sailing, Let’s Go Adventure and Kites & Wires unfortunately cannot be facilitated due to the restrictions

The committee are very mindful of our responsibility to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our staff, members, and public. The committee will follow the requirements and guidance of the Government, HSE and Irish Sailing guidelines.
