There is a very full agenda for the Conference and the morning session will also include a progress report on the plans for the 2013 ICRA Nationals that will take place in Tralee.

The afternoon session will include presentations by Jack Roy, International Race Officer that will give an opportunity to those present to exchange ideas with a leading Race Officer on development and cruiser race management, course types, etc. This will be followed by a presentation from Ian Travers on preparation and racing of quarter ton type boats.  A presentation will also be given by Damian Foxall, Ireland’s premier offshore sailor.

As always the conference will be the forum for the announcement of Boat of the Year and for 2012 there are two contenders for this prestigious title, NUI Galway, Martin Breen’s Reflex 38, and Royal Cork’s George Kenefick’s  Quarter Ton Tiger.

All are very welcome to attend and can be assured of an interesting and informative day.
