At the ISA 6thAnnual Awards Ball Sophie Brown of TBSC/RCYC received the well deserved award for Young Sailor of the Year. She was presented with her award by the Minister for Sport Leo Varadkar T.D. Sophie had a wonderful year and finished it off in New Zealand at the Optimist World Championships where she finished 13th overall from 210 boats and took silver for second girl.
