Will be held in the Club on Monday 28th April at 8pm.


Get ready for the season.


Practical Applications of the Racing Rules. (overview using a magnetic board for examples with questions and answers).

What you can and can’t do at each part of the race course. (Pre-start and start, the beat, windward mark, downwind, leeward mark and the finish).
Gaining tactical advantage from understanding the principals of the rules. Staying out of the protest room and when and if to protest.
Gaining Redress. Handling hearings if you get there.

Would you like to be a judge or an on the water umpire for Club or National sailing events and take part in an ISA development programme?
What’s involved and how to go about it.

 A brief overview of the ISA initiative underway to provide a fleet of 8 matched J80 26 foot Keelboats for Club events.
