Patrick Crosbie finished 3rd overall out of a fleet of almost 180 boats at the Topper World Championships that concluded last Friday in Dun Laoghaire. His performance was all the more remarkable because he has only sailed a Topper on few occassions and was up against a huge number of very well coached sailors mainly from the UK, Ireland and and Korea.
