Andrew O’Neill heads for Optimist World Championships
The very best of luck to Andrew O’Neill who heads to Spain to compete in the 2023 Optimist World Championship as one of 5 optimist sailors representing IODAI and Ireland at the event. ‘Nacho’ Trio Win National 18 Championships at Royal Cork

Success for RCYC at the 29er Southerns
RCYC was very well represented with sailors in seven of the competing 11 boats hailing from the club. With excellent sailing on display, competition was tight and everything hung on the last race and a countback to decide on the winner. (more…)

Success for RCYC at Youth Nationals
The Investwise Youth Nationals Championship at Howth Yacht Club was held over the Easter school break with over 170 sailors competing, including 32 RCYC members. Ben O’Shaughnessy with crew Ethan Spain won the 29er championship, and Oisín Pierse took the honours in the ILCA4 championship. (more…)
