Eoin Lyden had a great final day in the Optimist April/May Saturday League to pip long time leader Jil McGinley by the narrowest of margins. The prize giving will be tonight (Tuesday 2nd June) after league racing. Full results are available here.
Tuesday evening racing starts this evening and sailors a number of sailors have been promoted to higher fleets following their performances in league and nationally. The new club rankings can be seen here.

Eoin Lyden scored an excellent 4th and 2nd on Saturday to win the series with a point to spare over Jil McGinley. 25 sailors, including most of those chosen to represent their country at the recent trials, enjoyed ideal sailing conditions in a 10 knot south-easterly. Peter McCann won the first race from Philip Brownlow who had the best results of the day following up with a 1st in the second race.
