STRONG ENDING TO THE AUGUST LEAGUES FOR THE EIGHTEENS
9 Boats took to the water last night for the final races in the August leagues, we had a nice fresh southerly breeze and race one was lead from start to finish by Stephen and crew on Virtual Reality with Tom Mac in second and Jamie Dwyer just pipping GBU for third on the final beat to the finish (It must be said that GBU were not really trying very hard on that leg :)). in the second race Virtual reality and Tommy Dwyer traded blows for the whole race, but it was Tommy and crew that narrowly won out in the end with Jamie Dwyer in third again (this time they may have deserved it).
Hope to see a big turn out for September and the run in to the Nationals on the 24th and 25th
