The National 18 Class are hugely disappointed to announce that the 2021 National 18 championships in The Royal Cork Yacht Club are cancelled. The uncertainty over travel restrictions between the UK and Ireland means the class cannot safely run the event. The class would like to thank all of it’s wonderful members and friends. The intention is to have a great domestic season both in the UK and IRL.
The class has decided in principle to hold the 2022 championships in Cork. Clearly there is much planning to do but the team are already on it. Meanwhile the ask is to support the domestic season as best we can and enjoy ourselves as much as possible…!
