Royal Cork Yacht Club is delighted to welcome Michel Jewellers, Cork as a proud partner and official timer for the season ahead.

Founded in 1961, Michel Jewellers marks 65 years of craft and tradition – a milestone traditionally associated with the blue sapphire, a stone long regarded as a symbol of wisdom, trust and endurance.

In sailing, tradition is not preserved in museums. It is lived – race after race, generation after generation. Fine jewellery follows the same path, each piece carries a moment: a beginning, a milestone, a legacy. It is worn close, remembered deeply, and passed on with care. Sapphire has been chosen to mark this anniversary not for its rarity alone, but for what it represents: depth over display, permanence over novelty, and quiet confidence earned over time. Values shared equally by Michel Jewellers and Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Michel Jewellers’ work is defined by restraint, proportion and longevity. Their jewellery is created to endure—not to impress briefly, but to belong for a lifetime.

As the Royal Cork Yacht Club continues our own long-standing tradition of excellence on the water, this partnership reflects a shared respect for heritage, discipline and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

To mark their 65th year, Tim, Kate and the Michel Jewellers team look forward to welcoming members in store—continuing a tradition built on trust, craft and enduring relationships.

Annamarie Fegan, Admiral of the Royal Cork Yacht Club, welcomed the partnership, stating: “We are delighted to partner with a business that shares our deep roots in Cork. Like ourselves, Michel Jewellers has a long-standing presence in the region. We look forward to a successful relationship and working closely together in the years ahead.”

Michel Jewellers join our existing Club Partners AIB, Johnson & Perrott Motor Group and John Paul Construction.
