It is proposed to hold an open forum for members on Monday 23rd November 2009 in the Royal Cork Club House at 8pm.
In line with previous years, the purpose of this forum is to give members an opportunity to discuss a broad range of issues relating to the club. Amongst the issues that we would like to discuss are the rules and regulations by which the club functions. Much work has been done on this, and we need feedback from the members on the proposed changes. In order to do so we will make a copy of the proposed new Memorandum and Articles available to you for perusal in advance of the forum. It is important to note that no changes can be carried out to these legal documents unless approved at an EGM. All members with full voting rights will receive a letter from the Admiral in the next day or so outlining the background to these proposals.
