Now that our junior members have put their school books away for the coming week, close to forty of our dinghy sailors and their families will head to West Cork to take part in various training clinics; A fantastic contingent from the Royal Cork heading West again.
The mid term break has traditionally drawn kids from clubs all over
Ireland to west Cork and is a fantastic platform where participants make new friends and mix in a very social environment. In addition , their extended families also benefit from the migration and enjoy the beauty of the region.
We do have our laser sailors staying in home waters this year but many can look forward to heading to Baltimore for the Easter weekend to take part in their Munster championships.
Thanks to all those members who have helped in towing of RIBS, trailers etc and lets hope the weather is favourable for all on the water.
