Despite information to the contrary the night race took place as had originally been scheduled last evening (Tues).
CORK CIT AT LA TRINITE-sur-MERE
The Italian team had a convincing win in last night’s race. They were in the lead at the first buoy and went on to hold their lead and finish in first place. England finished second followed by Switzerland, USA and France ahead of CIT. However, the Portuguese who are currently leading the series overall could only finish in eighth place.
Current provisional positions after nine races and two discards are: Portugal 19pts, Italy 20pts, France 23pts and Ireland 24pts.
