Rising star, Jil McGinley, has taken a substantial lead in the Optimist April / May League. Consistent results in the top 5 mean that she holds a deserved 31 point lead after 8 races. Other notable results are Graham Smith in 2nd and Sam McGinley in 3rd. Thirty sailors have taken part so far which is very encouraging at this early stage in the season.
