The 2007 Irish Musto Optimist Champion is Diana Kissane of Howth Yacht Club having come from behind to beat Alexander Rumball of the Royal St. George Yacht Club and Richie Harrington of the Royal Cork.
This is Diana’s third Irish Optimist title in a row – a record in the 38 year history of Irish Optimist racing.
Amy Clarke, daughter Royal Cork Marina Manager Chris, won the national Optimist Bronze award. Amy also won the Best Girl Sailor Perpetual Trophy.
Daragh O’Sullivan from Kinsale was the Regatta Fleet Champion.
