Seafra Guilfoyle and Cian Byrne both put in strong performances at the Youth Laser Europeans which has just finished in Belgium.
In an extremely strong fleet of 195 sailors the RCYC boys showed great potiental early in the week in challenging conditions. Black Flags and gear failure dogged the pair but they came away with very creditable results. Seafra with a 6th in the U17 Silver Fleet (37 OA Silver) and Cian 13 in the U17 Silver fleet (54 OA Silver).
Fionn Lyden of Baltimore SC finished a fantastic 12 overall with Finn Lynch of the national YC 14th.
