Dwyer and O’Leary doing well at Key West Week 2010

After six races the Summit 35 Marinerscove is lying in second place on 18 points in PH-1. The current leader a J125 Stark Rav.Mad had six wins, third  is a Farr 30, Rhumb Punch, on 19 points while in fourth place the other Summit 35 Act One, which has a Tom Roche involvement, although he is not at Key West this week, has 25 points having had a disappointing eighth place in Race 6 today (Wed.).

The Cork contingent is in Key West at the request of Summit Yachts/North Sails and Caroll Marine to try out and test their new Summit 35.  Launched and commissioned the day of the team’s arrival, they had only two days to work her up to regatta level and are testing her against the first Summit 35 ‘Act One’.  Team Royal Cork is a  combination of crew from  Dave Dwyer’s ‘Marinerscove’ and Anthony O’Leary’s Ker 39 Antix Eile They are using Key West Week to start their 2010 campaign with the ultimate goal of competing in the 2010 Commodores Cup.
