Royal Cork’s David Kenefick has been named Afloat Sailor of the Year for 2013 for his astounding rookie year in one of the world’s most challenging offshore solo sailing circuits, centered on the incomparable La Solitaire du Figaro. Afloat Magazine has been running this prestigious competition for the last eighteen years and it is a much coveted title.
