Cudmore and Harrington clinch Autumn Series.

Vikki Cudmore and Amy Harrington clinched this years RS Feva Autumn Series.

Winds of 16knts made for a very exciting last days racing, with fast downwind sailing and spectacular capsizes. Some new faces came to the fore with the new combination of Julie Tingle/Julie Power looking very fast in the conditions and Crosbie/Geoghegan also showing some form. Race Officer John Cudmore assisted by Aideen and Sarah Cudmore set three excellent courses in the fresh westerly breeze, giving the fleet two rounds of a windward/leeward course on the Curlane Bank.

Race 7 threw the form book out the window with Cudmore and Harrington coming in 6th place. The Brendan Lyden/Marc Cudmore pairing sailed well to record a 1st place with Dermot Lyden/Peter Stokes 4th to consolidate their overall position of 3rd. Julie Tingle/Julie Power sailing very well to get 2nd place. With everything to play for, Cudmore/Harrington recorded 1st and 3rd in races 8 and 9 respectively to take the title in fine style. Lyden/Cudmore recorded a 2nd and 1st in the final two races to come 2nd overall with Lyden/Stokes lucky to hold on to 3rd place overall with two DNS in the last two races.
