Next weekend will see the club come alive with dinghy activity across a myriad of classes as Cork Dinghy Fest is again attracting large numbers and the scene is set for some great racing.
There are a number of race areas which will be assigned to each specific fleet ; From the optimist ‘fun fleet’ who will compete on the curlane bank, to the senior dinghy sailors competing in the National 18 fleet scheduled to race outside the mouth of the harbour.
As well as a large number of other one design fleets competing, there is also a vibrant ‘mixed dinghy’ fleet geared towards laser and toppers sailors and will make for great racing .
