We are delighted to announce details of the first Mid-Term Coaching Clinic for the Cork Laser Fleet to be held at the Royal Cork Yacht Club.
The clinic will take place from the 1st – 3rd November, will cater for maximum of 32 sailors and will include a dedicated Radial group of 8.
We have a supurb line-up of coaches led by Maurice “Prof” O’Connell. Prof is one Ireland’s most experienced coaches and an outstanding sailor in his own right.
The format of the event will include:
- Rotation of groups among coaches with each taking a particular aspect of racing skills.
- Racing each afternoon to put the lessons learned into practice.
- An evening meal for all sailors on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Full debrief during evening meal with the aid of video analysis.
- Prize-giving reception for sailors, parents and guests on Thursday evening.
- Prizes for winners of the racing program and best achievers.
The cost of the coaching program including the meals on Tuesday and Wednesday evening is €120. For sailors who are participating in the ISA Munster Academy a reduced fee is available at €90 for Wednesday and Thursday only.
