Nine sailors enjoyed light conditions for the third and final week of initial junior coaching last Sunday 26th September.
Lead by coach Donagh Good, the mixture of 4.7 and Radial rigged boats practiced starting and upwind sailing techniques for light weather in about 5 knots off the Curlane Bank. With a total of nineteen sailors having participated in the coaching over the three weeks and with additional hulls arriving daily, a busy and exciting frostbite series starting on the 3rd October is promised.
Coaching will now switch to Sunday mornings ahead of the Cork Sailboat Frostbites with additional coaching days being planned for Saturday October 16th and the October Bank Holiday Weekend. Further details to follow on the website.
