Admiral Colin Morehead exchanged burgee’s with President Philippe Heral of the Yacht Club de France at their beautiful club house in Paris on Friday last. In March 2020, the RCYC signed a reciprocal agreement between the two great clubs but sadly plans to recognise the occasion at the time were cancelled due to Covid.
Admiral Morehead was in Paris to announce that Volvo Cork Week 2022 will, for the first time, have a Classic Yacht Class as part of its line up. He made this announcement at the Salon Nautic Paris 2021 (Paris Boat Show) along with President Pascal Stefani, Yves Lambert and Yves Gaignet of the Atlantic Yacht Club who have entered into a collaboration with the RCYC entitled Goto Cork 2022 aimed at attracting Classic Yacht Owners in France to participate in Volvo Cork Week.
