The Sailing Instructions for the CH Marine Autumn Regatta are now available online. In response to feedback from competitors and some concerns from owners of smaller boats, this year Class 4 will remain on the harbour course. They will be joined by the White Sail classes and the 1720s (every second weekend) so it’ll be an interesting fleet. Barry Rose and his team are sure to provide exciting harbour courses.
To encourage small groups of boats to race amongst themselves we will have a first place prize for any group of 3 boats of the same type racing against each other in the same class (Impalas, GK24s, Sigma 33s, J24s, Quarter Tonners, X332s etc).
Class 1, 2, and 3 will race under the watchful eye of International Race Officer Peter Crowley and his team. Peter will provide a variety of courses outside the harbour when conditions permit.
The Regatta begins this Sunday, September 30th with a warning signal for the 1st race of the day at 11.55. Competitors are asked to please enter by Saturday September 29th to ensure they are allocated to their correct class and that results can be processed promptly on Sunday.
Prizegiving will take place daily with the kind assistance of our sponsor CH Marine.
