More good news for the Royal Cork Yacht Club today with Anthony O’Leary’s outstanding win in IRC One at the Easter Challenge. Speaking with Anthony as he waited to board his flight home he was obviously in excellent form and delighted with the win for himself and his crew. They enjoyed excellent racing with two beautiful days that changed today when they had heavy rain for the day.
The scoreboard for Antix throughout the three days includes four firsts, two seconds and a third and this was in a fleet of hot shot Ker 40s, a Corby 38, and a Mills 39. A dream result and proving that Antix is a highly competitive boat and can look forward with confidence to leading the Irish Team in the forthcoming Commodores’ Cup Series.
