The AIB 1720 Southern Championships 2020 will take place on Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2020 and we look forward to welcoming the class to Cork in celebration of Cork300.
In line with the latest COVID-19 Government guidelines, this event will take place behind closed doors and is a water based event only. There must be no social gatherings before or after sailing thus sailors must disperse as soon as possible once ashore. See below for a list of suggested local restaurants with a good food offering.

Marina Plan – First Come First Served – No Rafting Allowed Due To Social Distancing
Lift in will take place on Thursday 27th August from 16:00 – 18:00 and again on Friday 28th August from 11:00 – 13:00 in Salve Marine, next to the Royal Cork. Boats will be lifted out immediately after racing on Sunday if required. The fee is €110 in total for the lift in and lift out, payable in cash on lift-in to event organisers who will pass to Salve Marine. Trailers will be stored in the Eastern car park of the Royal Cork. Please contact Alex to book your time slot. Club rib will be on hand to tow to Royal Cork marina for standing masts.
