The 16 members of the ISA Optimist National Squad and three other Irish sailors competed at the Trofeo Ciutat de Palma this weekend. With a fleet of 360 Optimists this is one of the biggest and most competitive regattas outside the continental and World championships. The Irish Sports Council has chosen this event as one of the qualifying events for funding.
