Tuesday the 31st of July we plan to do an Orienteering race in the harbour with F.G 18.55
The course will be layed and may include a harbour mark and you will get a Latitude and Longitude position for each Mark. Before you leave the club, you must then locate your positions with the Chart, Chart plotter or hand held GPS. The race will be started from either Grassy walk or a Committee vessel. Once started you can sail to the marks whatever way you want to and on rounding you note the code written on the Mark i.e. XU and write it on your Mark sheet, available at club before departure, and hand it in after racing to results office with boat name and Sail Number.
