ISAF Category 2 Training
Kinsale Yacht Club in association with Sea and Shore Safety Services are holding an ISAF Category 2 training course at Kinsale Yacht Club on Saturday the 10th and Sunday 11th of May 2008. The course covers the full ISAF 2 day programme required for offshore races run under ISAF rules such as The Round Ireland and Fastnet race. Prospective skippers for these races should be aware of the minimum qualified crew requirement for these races. Participants will receive an ISAF certificate which holds good for five years. The course covers Liferaft training (including pool session), pyrotechnics, SAR, firefighting, storm tactics and much more. Course cost is €330.00 and is limited to a maximum of 15 persons.
