Cork Week Cargo!

The M.V. Egelantiersgracht passing Roches Point en route to Cork from Bermuda with a cargo of boats which included three racing yachts, Moneypenny, Numbers and Rambler. They will take part in ACCBank CorkWeek which begins next weekend.

 
Clipper Race departs for Liverpool

The Round the World Clipper fleet have left the Royal Cork bound for Liverpool on the last race of their circumnavigation. The fleet was led in a parade of sail past Cobh to the start line at Weavers by the L.E. Aisling. Crosshaven RNLI and Crosshaven Coastguard assisted race officials Joff Bailey, Peter Crowley and Michael O'Connor. Full story here

Junior Classes - Pursuit Race this Saturday for the Miss Betty Cup

Saturday will be the last day of Junior Sailing before AccBankCorkWeek and we are expecting a big turnout for the "All in" Miss Betty Cup.

All Junior Classes are eligible and this year the event is being run as a pursuit race, ie the boats all start at different times depending on their handicap.

Advanced Level Optimist Clinic

Fernado Gwozdz has joined forces with our own Nin O’Leary to put together an Advanced Level Optimist Clinic. The Clinic is for sailors that took part in the recent coaching and are in the GOLD FLEET (Senior or Junior) IODAI national rankings and provide them with a challenging programme of activities. The Clinic will take place from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th June  and sailors must be available for all 4 days. Cost and timings will be advised shortly by email.
