David Kenefick had an excellent day today in two inshore races in Beaulieu –sur-Mer. He led at the weather mark in the first race and finished in fourth place, a remarkable performance given his age against the more experienced competitors and in an increasing wind he finished twelfth in the second race. David is sailing a borrowed boat and he finished tenth in the 400 mile offshore race from Minorque to Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The event is considered the Figaro of the Med.
Well done David from all at at Royal Cork.
