All Class 1 Dinghies, the Dognose Trophy(originally scheduled for Sept 1st) will be run in conjunction with a great event in Lower Aghada to celebrate their new pontoon on Saturday July 14th. The Miss Betty(Class 2) and the Dognose(Class 1) were traditionally run together but we are having trouble locating this trophy, finding out when the Miss Betty was run last or who may have won it. I just wanted to give the ‘heads up’ incase there are any Class 2 dinghies that might want to race for this trophy. If you have any information please contact your Class Captain. News Flash – SL 16 Multihull
SL16 manufacturers are to launch a 2012 training & demonstration weekend on 16th /17th April 2010. We can confirm that Olympic multihull sailor Rob White and a representative of Serina, the manufacturers of SL16 multihull, will be holding an introductory training weekend in Dun Laoghaire on 16th/17th April 2010 when they will introduce the SL16 to youth sailors interested in campaigning for the ISAF Youth Worlds in 2012.…
