The SCORA AGM and PRIZEGIVING will take place in the Royal Cork Yacht Club on Friday 30th November 2012  at 8 pm

The agenda will include: apologies, the Commodore’s Report, a report on the Income/Expenditure Account, a discussion on the format of 2012 programme and possible changes for 2013 programme, the election of officers, and of course the presentation of prizes. An important item on the agenda is Class Bands for 2013.…

The Sailing Instructions for the CH Marine Autumn Regatta are now available online. In response to feedback from competitors and some concerns from owners of smaller boats, this year Class 4 will remain on the harbour course. They will be joined by the White Sail classes and the 1720s (every second weekend) so it’ll be an interesting fleet. Barry Rose and his team are sure to provide exciting harbour courses.

To encourage small groups of boats to race amongst themselves we will have a first place prize for any group of 3 boats of the same type racing against each other in the same class (Impalas, GK24s, Sigma 33s, J24s, Quarter Tonners, X332s etc).
